What uniform shall I wear on site?

At Citrus, we take pride in maintaining a professional and consistent appearance on all our sites. Your uniform plays a vital role in presenting the company’s values and professionalism to our clients, so it’s important to follow the guidelines below.

During Your Probation Period (First Three Months):

For the first three months of your employment, while you are settling into your role and completing your probation, we do not provide an official uniform. Instead, we ask you to wear:

  • A plain black top or shirt (this includes t-shirts, polo shirts, or long-sleeved tops as long as they are plain).
  • Plain black trousers (smart or work-appropriate trousers, such as chinos or tailored styles) NO JEANS OR TRACKSUITS.

This dress code ensures a professional and consistent appearance while allowing you some flexibility during the probation period.

After Your Probation Period:

Once you successfully complete your three-month probation, you will be issued a Citrus uniform. This will include branded items that clearly identify you as a part of our team.

  • It is your responsibility to care for and maintain your Citrus uniform to ensure it stays clean and presentable.
  • Wearing your Citrus uniform helps represent our company professionally and makes it easy for clients and customers to identify you.

If your uniform becomes damaged or unsuitable for work, please inform your line manager so that a replacement can be arranged.

Comfort and Professionalism:

We understand that comfort is key while working, especially in physically demanding or busy roles. Whether you’re wearing your own clothing during the probation period or the official Citrus uniform, it is important that your outfit allows you to move and work comfortably.

At the same time, maintaining a professional appearance is essential. A neat and tidy look not only reflects positively on you but also on the company as a whole.

Dress Code Guidelines:

To ensure consistency and professionalism across all our teams, please follow these additional guidelines:

  • Not Allowed:
    • Tracksuit bottoms
    • Small tank tops or cropped tops
    • Clothing with visible logos, patterns, or branding (during the probation period)
    • Ripped, faded, or overly casual clothing

  • Always Aim to Look Presentable:
    • Your clothing or uniform should be clean, wrinkle-free, and appropriate for a workplace environment.
    • Shoes should be sensible, closed-toe, and work-appropriate.

Why Appearance Matters:

Your appearance is one of the first things clients and customers notice when interacting with our team. Dressing professionally helps to build trust, creates a positive impression, and ensures we uphold Citrus’s reputation for quality and excellence.

What to Do if You’re Unsure:

If you have any questions or concerns about what to wear, or if you need further clarification, please speak to [email protected] They will be happy to guide you and ensure you feel confident in your role.

By following these guidelines, you’ll not only look the part but also feel comfortable and prepared to represent Citrus on site. Thank you for your cooperation!
