Taking Holiday in December: Employee Guide
At Citrus, we value our employees' well-deserved time off and aim to balance personal needs with business requirements. December is a peak period for many of our operations, and as such, we have specific guidelines regarding holiday requests during this time.
Policy Overview
- No General Holidays in December: To ensure smooth operations during the busy period, we do not approve holiday requests for December.
- Exceptions for Site Closures: If your assigned site is closed during December, you may be eligible to book holiday during the closure period.
Steps to Request Holiday if Your Site is Closed
- Confirm Site Closure: Check with your line manager to confirm whether your site will be closed and the dates of closure.
- Submit Your Request: Submit your holiday request through the usual process USING THE PORTAL. Clearly indicate that your site is closed.
- Approval Process: Your line manager will review the request to ensure it aligns with the site closure schedule and confirm approval.
Important Notes
- If your site remains operational, all employees are expected to attend work as usual.
- Requests for holiday outside of site closure periods will not be approved in December.
- You are encouraged to plan and use your annual leave during other months to avoid losing any unused entitlement.
